Dean Street will always hold a special place in our hearts. Pizza Pilgrims Soho is where the whole journey began, our first proper restaurant, opened in 2013, right in the middle of proper Soho. It’s still here, recently expanded and lovingly reimagined, with ground-floor dining and an Amalfi-inspired basement that feels like a genuine escape from the city above. Come for pizza Soho-style: great ingredients, lively atmosphere, and when the sun’s out, grab a takeaway and head straight to Soho Square.

The pizza at Dean Street is the same pizza it’s always been, made the way Neapolitan pizza is meant to be made. Double-fermented dough, slow-proved to give it lightness and flavour. San Marzano tomatoes DOP from the foot of Vesuvius. Fior di Latte mozzarella from Campania. A 500°C oven that gives the crust its characteristic blister and char. It’s a short list of steps but every one of them matters.

Pizza Pilgrims has been refining this since 2012, the same commitment to the craft, the same quality of ingredients, the same obsession with getting the dough right. The menu at Dean Street runs the full range. Classics like the Margherita and the Marinara (which is fully vegan and one of the most ordered pizzas on the menu). And the 8-Cheese, which is exactly what it sounds like and entirely worth it.

Dean Street is where it all started. Pizza Pilgrims opened its first restaurant here in 2013, after founders Thom and James drove a Piaggio van 4,500km from the toe of Italy to bring proper Neapolitan pizza to London. The pizzeria is right in the heart of Soho, a short walk from Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, easy to reach from anywhere in Central London. The atmosphere is warm, informal and reliably lively. Walk-ins are always welcome, bookings are available, and Click & Collect means you can take the pizza wherever the evening takes you.

Tottenham Court Road (Central and Northern lines) is about a 3-minute walk. Leicester Square (Northern and Piccadilly lines) is around 5 minutes. Either works well.
